The Child Advocacy Center of Niagara collaborated with the editor and staff at Buffalo Healthy Living to create a special edition focused on Child Safety. This free booklet provides safety messaging for children of all ages in a variety of different settings. Topics include Infant Safe Sleep, Child Heat Stroke, Water Safety, Cyberbulling Awareness, and Teen Driving.
The issue was developed through the Center’s Niagara County Child Fatality Review Team. The team brings together professionals in the fields of child welfare, criminal justice, public health, mental health, healthcare and other programs serving children and families. The goal of the team is to better understand the risks facing children and how to protect all children from preventable tragedies.
