CAC of Niagara joins NYSCA in the One Too Many Campaign

The Child Advocacy Center of Niagara has joined the New York State Children’s Alliance in the One Too Many campaign to prevent child abuse.

One in 10 children will be abused before their 18th birthday. The “One Too Many” statewide initiative was founded to address this reality, because one child abused is “One Too Many.”

“One Too Many” provides an opportunity to begin a conversation about child sexual abuse, which is often an uncomfortable topic. Child Advocacy Centers play a unique role in providing comprehensive, coordinated, compassionate services to child victims of abuse. The Child Advocacy Center of Niagara is one of 41 CACs in New York State and is a member of the New York State Children’s Alliance.  The Child Advocacy Center of Niagara will also provide education and training on child abuse related topics for service clubs, schools, churches and community organizations of any size.
